Position: Drywall Supervisor – Commercial Projects 


We are seeking an experienced and motivated Drywall Supervisor to join our growing team in Canada. The Drywall Supervisor oversees day-to-day operations at multiple commercial job sites. This role is key to ensuring that all projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with client expectations—within a safety-sensitive environment that demands constant attention to detail.

The Drywall Supervisor oversees day-to-day operations at multiple commercial job sites. This role is key to ensuring that all projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with client expectations—within a safety-sensitive environment that demands constant attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise, coordinate, and schedule drywall installation teams on commercial construction sites
· Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure compliance with project plans
· Plan work schedules and coordinate tasks with subcontractors and other trades
· Communicate site progress to the construction management team, client representatives, and safety consultants
· Identify and resolve on-site challenges to optimize productivity, quality, and safety
· Manage the requisition and allocation of materials, tools, and equipment
· Train and mentor team members on safety procedures, job tasks, and company standards
· Recommend staffing decisions, including hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions
· Maintain accurate progress reports and project documentation
· Enforce strict compliance with safety regulations and company standards
· Participate in hands-on drywall work when required
· Supervise apprentices, helpers, and general labourers

Qualifications

· Completion of secondary school
· Several years of experience in drywall installation, including supervisory roles
· Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
· Solid understanding of construction project management principles
· Excellent scheduling and team coordination abilities
· Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
· Experience addressing team concerns and questions
· Good manual dexterity and coordination to support onsite tasks
· Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record 

Requirements

· European Union member passport
· Good level of written and spoken French
· Ability to establish long-term residence in Canada (e.g. move there)
· Solid and proven professional experience as a SUPERVISOR/LEADER of drywall installation teams or at least in civil construction
· Availability to undergo medical examination and laboratory tests to screen for illicit substances (if detected, it will not be considered)
· Detailed CV – mentioning experience in civil construction or as a drywall installation supervisor  

Assets (Preferred)

· Experience supervising large-scale or multi-unit commercial drywall projects
· Skilled in mentoring apprentices and developing less experienced team members
· Experience conducting quality control inspections
· Ability to communicate in English
